Let’s start with checking the devices and the driver’s version are they properly installed and enabled. As I said Windows’s XP SP2 has a generic Bluetooth radio driver, as you can see for the screen capture.

To access “Device Manager”
Start button | Settings | Control Panel | System (icon) | Hardware (nail) | Device Manager Button.
